Lys Villalba is an architect, educator and independent researcher, graduate of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid ETSAM and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University’s GSAPP (2016-2017). Her work explores the intersection of architecture and the social, technological, and political realms, and was nominated for the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative 2016.

besides of her work as an architect we know lys as one of the co-founders of zoohaus, an international research platform, that is collecting and observing building and construction knowledge from local communities all over the world. we are very excited for this input and our discussion.
