INTELIGENCIAS COLECTIVAS ENDPRÄSENTATION
We had formed a general picture of Cuba on the basis of Research 1 and in Research 2 we dealt more specifically with different aspects of the built environment on site. The presentations of the online sessions showed us how this environment is shaped by everyday practices (Inteligencias Colectivas) that we have tried to describe and analyze scientifically.
The real anchoring of the built framework of our societies is evident not only in everyday use, but also retrospectively in possible usage histories of individual objects, buildings or spatial typologies as well as in new reinterpretations of built structures through use. Possible self-determined appropriations of space are also part of it.
The final task will be the result of what the entire group of students from TUB and CUAJE was able to find out from all these exercises and lectures on these customs. The results of the analysis will be something collective: 6 teams of 6-7 members (2 students from CUJAE and 4-5 from TUB) will propose a DesignBuild project in La Habana. The base of the proposals will be on what is useful, what is missing, what would help to which specific development, which actors should be contacted or involved? The intervention can be on any scale, be parasitic or completely new and address a use or a history of use of individual objects, buildings or spatial.
special thanks to all our partners and guestcritics for their great inputs and interesting discussions.
